The AJA Colorfront Pipeline License for ColorBox adds advanced color processing and brightness tools to the AJA ColorBox live broadcast and video processing platform. With Colorfront Engine TV Mode and Live Mode, you gain additional control over color, brightness, highlights, camera correction and HDR/SDR transformations.

Colorfront Engine TV Mode

Colorfront Engine TV Mode provides specialized color conversions and simplified controls for live television production. It supports SDR, HLG, PQ and Sony S-Log3 transforms while providing tools for highlight and roll-off management.

Brightness, Highlight and Super Highlight controls help manage image highlights, while Colorfulness control helps address the Hunt Effect. In addition, RGB and Master Lift, Gamma and Gain controls provide detailed color adjustment.

For camera correction, operators can adjust Exposure, Color Temperature and Tint. The Roundtrip setting also helps maintain a technical match during round-trip workflows.

Colorfront Engine Live Mode

Colorfront Engine Live Mode is designed for live applications across broadcast, OTT, AV and venue production. It supports SDR, HLG and PQ workflows, along with camera-specific transforms for Sony, ARRI, RED, Panasonic and Canon cameras.

Live Mode also provides advanced creative and technical controls, including HDR Log Look, SDR Softness, HDR Amount, Ambient Light Compensation and P3 Clamp. Together, these tools provide greater control over image appearance and color consistency in demanding live production environments.
