Professional SDI Video I/O

The Corvid 22 provides two independent channels for capturing and playing back digital, uncompressed audio and video. It supports 3G-SDI, HD-SDI, SD-SDI, SD, and 2K/1080 video formats, making it suitable for broadcast production, video ingest, playback, live production, and other professional video applications.

The card transfers 8-/10-bit YCbCr and RGB frame buffer formats for high-quality uncompressed video workflows.

Dual-Channel Keying and Video Output

Corvid 22 supports advanced keying workflows with two simultaneous video/key pairs over 3G using two mixer/keyer widgets. It can also provide up to two simultaneous downstream keyers, giving developers and broadcast professionals greater flexibility for graphics, compositing, and live production systems.

Embedded Audio and Synchronization

The AJA Corvid 22 features two independent SDI embedded audio input/output engines, each supporting 16 channels of 24-bit, 48 kHz audio. The card also supports analog color black and HD tri-level synchronization for reliable timing in professional video environments.

Each channel provides separate LTC, metadata, and RS-422 connections for capturing and playing back digital uncompressed audio and video. A breakout cable supporting LTC and RS-422 input/output is available separately.

Software Development and System Compatibility

Corvid 22 is designed for software-based video applications and supports AJA's API and SDK environments. The API helps simplify development when working across multiple platforms or using multiple AJA video cards.

The card is compatible with Windows and 32-/64-bit Linux operating systems through supported SDK-based development environments.
