Corvid 22 supports 8-/10-bit uncompressed YCbCr and RGB frame buffer formats, embedded SDI audio, LTC, metadata, RS-422, and professional synchronization for flexible video capture, playback, keying, and broadcast applications.

Professional SDI Video I/O

The AJA Corvid 22 provides two independent channels for capturing and playing back digital, uncompressed audio and video. It supports 3G-SDI, HD-SDI, SD-SDI, SD, and 2K/1080 input and output formats, making it suitable for broadcast production, video ingest, playback, live production, and other professional video applications.

The PCIe card transfers 8-/10-bit YCbCr and RGB frame buffer formats, providing high-quality uncompressed video for professional workflows.

Dual-Channel Keying and Video Output

Corvid 22 supports two simultaneous video/key pairs over 3G using two mixer/keyer widgets. It can also provide up to two simultaneous downstream keyers, making it suitable for broadcast graphics, compositing, and other applications requiring multiple video and key outputs.

Embedded Audio and Synchronization

The Corvid 22 features two independent SDI embedded audio input/output engines with support for 16 channels of 24-bit, 48 kHz audio. It also supports analog color black and HD tri-level synchronization for accurate timing in professional video systems.

Each channel provides separate LTC, metadata, and RS-422 functionality for capturing and playing back digital uncompressed audio and video.

Software Development and System Compatibility

The AJA Corvid 22 is designed for software-based video applications and supports AJA's API and SDK environments. Its API helps simplify development when working across multiple platforms or with multiple AJA video cards.
