The frame can accommodate up to 12 AJA D4/D5 series Mini-Converters or up to six D10/HD10 series Mini-Converters, helping organize converters while eliminating the need for individual power supplies.

A built-in universal power supply provides 12 discrete regulated +5V outputs with up to 50W total power, creating a cleaner and more efficient installation for broadcast, live production, studio, and professional AV environments.

Consolidate AJA Mini-Converters in a 2RU Rack Frame

The AJA DRM-R2 provides a convenient way to install multiple Mini-Converters in a standard 19-inch equipment rack. Instead of mounting individual converters throughout a rack and managing multiple power supplies, the DRM-R2 consolidates compatible AJA Mini-Converters into one organized 2RU chassis.

The frame supports up to 12 D4/D5 series Mini-Converters or up to six D10/HD10 series Mini-Converters, with the flexibility to mix and match supported converter sizes.

Integrated Universal Power Supply

The DRM-R2 includes a universal power supply with 12 discrete regulated +5V outputs, eliminating the need for a separate power supply for each installed converter.

The power supply accepts 100-240V AC at 50/60 Hz and provides up to 50W of total power across its 12 outputs. This helps reduce cable clutter and simplifies power distribution within the equipment rack.

Flexible Mini-Converter Mounting

The DRM-R2 includes mounting brackets designed for AJA Mini-Converters. Six brackets accommodate D4/D5 series Mini-Converters, while six larger brackets support D10/HD10 series Mini-Converters.

This flexible mounting system lets you configure the rack frame around the specific combination of AJA converters required for your video workflow.

Professional Rackmount Installation

With a standard 19-inch rack width and 2RU height, the DRM-R2 integrates easily into professional equipment racks, broadcast systems, production facilities, studios, and mobile production environments.

AJA recommends leaving 1RU of space above the frame when installing select larger Mini-Converters to provide appropriate clearance.
