Reliable SSD Media for AJA Ki Pro Recording Systems

The AJA PAK 256GB SSD Module provides dedicated removable storage for professional video recording and playback workflows. Its enterprise-level solid-state drive and protective aluminum housing are designed for production environments where media is regularly handled, transported, and reused.

The module is compatible with the AJA Ki Pro Ultra and Ki Pro Quad file-based recorders and players supporting 4K, UltraHD, 2K, and HD workflows, as well as the AJA CION camera.

HFS+ Formatting and exFAT Flexibility

The PAK 256GB SSD comes preformatted as HFS+ for compatible recording and media management workflows. When required, it can be reformatted to exFAT using a compatible Ki Pro system to suit supported editing and file-transfer requirements.

Always confirm file-system compatibility with your recording equipment and editing computer before reformatting, as formatting can affect access to existing recordings.

Rugged Construction for Production Use

Built for use as removable media rather than as an internal computer drive, the AJA PAK 256GB SSD features a protective aluminum enclosure and a reinforced connector designed for repeated insertion and removal. The connector is rated for up to 10,000 insertion cycles, supporting demanding production routines.

Each PAK unit is tested and undergoes a burn-in period before shipment to help ensure it is ready for use.

Offload Footage with an Optional AJA PAK Dock

To transfer recorded footage to a computer, insert the PAK module into a compatible optional AJA PAK Dock. Depending on the dock model, connectivity options include Thunderbolt or USB.
