6D-SDI and HDMI terminals allow for output that supports integration into professional workflows, making it particularly useful for broadcast applications. The 6G-SDI and HDMI outputs provide an uncompressed signal at 3840 x 2160 or 1920 x 1080 resolution with 4:2:2 color sampling and 10-bit color depth, perfect for demanding television broadcast applications.
Hybrid AF
The CR-X300 is equipped with "Hybrid AF". Hybrid AF is an auto focus system that combines high-precision contrast AF technology and the high-speed phase-difference AF technology to confirm auto focus from the camera. This hybrid auto focus system achieves auto focus faster and more reliably compared to contrast auto focus alone. Furthermore, the CR-X300 features Face Detection and Tracking functions which detects faces and automatically adjusts focus when a human is detected within the frame.
Advanced Full HD Image Quality
Our Full HD image quality from our CR-X300 is now even better thanks to Over Sampling HD Processing, which enables Full HD by effectively utilizing the outstanding capabilities of the 4K UHD CMOS Sensor. The CR-X300 features Scene Modes that offer four preset shooting modes suitable for the desired application.
There are four types of Scene Modes: Portrait mode, which exhibits a blurred background while subject is in sharp focus, Sports mode, which enhances capture of moving objects, Low Light mode, which enhances capture of bright images even in dark places, and Spotlight mode, which enhances capture of beautiful images of spotlighted objects.
By selecting a Scene Mode, capture can be performed without having to adjust multiple settings within the Camera menu which aids a speedy setup and configuration allowing the operator to start shooting with impressive image expression.
IR Mode
The CR-X300 features an Infrared Mode allowing the capture of video in conditions with little to no ambient light. This feature allows low-light capture by removing the infrared cutoff filter from the optical path. The camera’s specially designed lens coating allows the infrared light to pass through to the image sensor.
Genuine Canon 4K UHD Lens
20x Zoom Range
The CR-X300 features a genuine Canon 20x 4K Optical Zoom Lens that provides a highly versatile zoom range with a 35mm equivalent of 29.3 - 601mm to help capture subjects at a variety of distances. Furthermore, the CR-X300 exhibits a 65.6° angle of view when video output is set to 4K UHD and a 63.5° angle of view when video output is set to full HD. This allows operators to capture wider angles of view, which could potentially reduce the amount of cameras needed for a production – reducing overall costs of the project.
20x Digital Zoom
When combined with a digital 20x zoom, the camera can achieve super-telephoto shooting with a maximum 400x zoom (Optical 20x + Digital 20x).
Image Stabilization Options with Two Types of IS Modes
In addition to the Standard optical IS mode, CR-X300 is also equipped with the Powered IS mode that compensates for blurring during telephoto shooting.
