Instead of relying on a single network, LRT Cloud Bonding combines up to four internet connections—including two cellular modems, Wi-Fi, and Ethernet. If one connection slows down or drops, the remaining connections automatically keep your broadcast running smoothly. This helps deliver uninterrupted, professional-quality live video for sports, houses of worship, education, corporate events, remote productions, and live streaming on location.

How LiveU Reliable Transport (LRT™) Works

Packet Ordering

LRT assigns a sequence number to every packet. Therefore, if packets arrive out of order while using multiple internet connections, they are automatically reordered before playback. This keeps your live stream smooth and consistent.

Dynamic Forward Error Correction (FEC)

LRT continuously monitors network quality and automatically adjusts Forward Error Correction. As a result, lost data can be recovered quickly while minimizing additional bandwidth usage.

Packet Acknowledgment and Resend

Unlike standard UDP transmission, LRT confirms that data has been received correctly. If packets are missing, they are automatically requested again. This process improves reliability while keeping latency low.

Adaptive Bitrate Encoding

Network conditions can change at any moment. Fortunately, LRT automatically adjusts the encoder's bitrate to match available bandwidth. This helps maintain the best possible video quality without interrupting your stream.
