The Teradek Ranger MK II 5000 is a professional 4K60 wireless video transmitter and receiver system designed to deliver visually lossless video up to 5,000 feet line of sight. With 12G-SDI and HDMI connectivity, support for 4K60 video, 10-bit HDR, zero-delay transmission, and AES-256 encryption, the Ranger MK II 5000 is built for demanding live production, broadcast, sports, events, ENG, drones, gimbals, and handheld camera applications.

The V-Mount wireless TX/RX kit includes a Ranger MK II 5000 transmitter and receiver with V-Mount battery plates, providing a complete long-range wireless video solution for professional camera and production rigs.

Long-Range 4K60 Wireless Video

The Ranger MK II 5000 provides up to 5,000 feet of wireless video transmission line of sight while supporting resolutions up to 4K60. Teradek's zero-delay wireless technology is designed for professional workflows where real-time video monitoring and responsive camera operation are critical.

The system is well suited for live broadcast, sports production, concerts, events, film and television, ENG, drones, gimbals, and shoulder-mounted cameras.

12G-SDI and HDMI Connectivity

The Ranger MK II 5000 transmitter accepts video through 12G-SDI or HDMI, providing connectivity for professional cinema, broadcast, and production cameras. The transmitter also includes an SDI loop output for local monitoring.

The wireless receiver outputs up to 4K60 video through 12G-SDI or HDMI, allowing the received signal to connect directly to monitors, switchers, recorders, and other production equipment.

10-bit HDR and Visually Lossless Transmission

The Ranger MK II 5000 supports 10-bit HDR video and visually lossless wireless transmission, helping maintain image quality across professional production workflows. Its zero-delay performance is especially valuable for camera operators, directors, and crews who need a responsive live video feed.

Connect Up to Six Receivers

A single Ranger MK II 5000 transmitter can send video to up to six receivers, making the system useful for multi-monitor production environments. Multiple crew members can monitor the same camera feed without requiring additional wired video runs.

The Ranger platform also supports compatibility between different Ranger transmitter and receiver models. Mixed Ranger systems operate according to the range limitations of the lowest-range paired model, while 6 GHz operation requires support from both the transmitter and receiver.

Flexible 4.9 to 6.4 GHz Wireless Operation

The Ranger MK II 5000 provides access to a wide 4.9 to 6.4 GHz frequency range to help production teams manage wireless interference in challenging RF environments.

Depending on configuration and regional requirements, the system can operate across 5 GHz, licensed frequency bands, and the 6 GHz U-NII-5 spectrum. The 6 GHz U-NII-5 band provides additional channels that can help production crews find less congested wireless spectrum.

Built-in AES-256 encryption helps protect wireless video from unauthorized access. This makes the Ranger MK II 5000 a strong choice for professional productions where secure transmission of live camera feeds is important.

Launchpad Configuration and RF Monitoring

The Ranger MK II 5000 can be configured using Teradek Launchpad software on macOS and Windows or the Launchpad mobile app for iOS and Android. Bluetooth 5 LE connectivity allows operators to configure and monitor the system without complicated setup procedures.

Launchpad provides tools for:
