Compact HDMI Video Switching

The V-1HD provides simple, reliable HDMI video switching in a compact design. Connect up to four HDMI sources and switch between them with dedicated buttons or the T-fader. In addition, the V-1HD can handle mismatched HDMI sources, including interlaced and progressive signals.

As a result, the V-1HD is a flexible choice for live streaming, presentations, conferences, sports production, worship services, education, and live events.

Professional Video Effects

The V-1HD includes a three-layer effects engine for more creative productions. You can create picture-in-picture and split-screen layouts while adding chroma key or luminance key effects.

Additionally, two EFFECTS knobs provide hands-on control over visual effects. This makes it easy to add polished transitions and engaging visuals without complicated software.

Built-In 12-Channel Audio Mixer

The Roland V-1HD also includes a powerful 12-channel digital audio mixer. Mix embedded audio from all four HDMI inputs along with stereo line-level or microphone-level audio.

Each audio channel provides tools such as delay, EQ, reverb, and mastering effects. Therefore, the V-1HD can simplify your production setup by combining video switching and audio mixing in one compact unit.

Two HDMI Outputs

For example, you can send the program output to a projector, monitor, recorder, or streaming system. Meanwhile, the second output can provide an up-next preview or four-way multi-viewer.

Automatic Video Switching

The V-1HD offers automatic switching modes for hands-free operation. Input Scan automatically switches between connected sources at intervals from 1 to 120 seconds.

In addition, BPM Sync can automatically switch between Preview and Program based on a selected music tempo. These features are useful for productions where automated switching can reduce operator workload.

Remote Control Software

For additional control, the V-1HD works with Roland remote control software. Use an iPad, Windows PC, or Mac to control switching functions, adjust audio, change effects, and modify system settings.

You can also create up to eight custom scenes. This makes it faster to recall settings and prepare for different production setups.

System Program Version 2.0

System Program Version 2.0 adds new features and improvements to the V-1HD. The update expands picture-in-picture options with a new 1/3-size setting and adds Auto Scan for hands-free switching.

The update also improves the user interface. Audio level meters can now be viewed on the multi-viewer, while panel lock and faster system resets make operation more convenient.
