The SmallHD Focus 504 is a compact 5-inch on-camera monitor built for lightweight camera rigs, handheld shooting, mobile production, and professional video workflows. It features a 1920×1080 touchscreen, 1000-nit brightness, and 100% Rec.709 color coverage for clear, accurate monitoring on set.

With 3G-SDI, HDMI 2.0, USB-C connectivity, PageOS software, LUT support, focus and exposure tools, and wireless camera control support, the Focus 504 combines professional monitoring features with a portable design.

Professional Monitoring with PageOS

The Focus 504 runs SmallHD PageOS, giving operators access to customizable monitoring pages, exposure tools, focus assist, LUTs, and other professional monitoring functions. Its touchscreen interface makes it easy to quickly adjust monitoring tools during production.

SDI, HDMI, and USB-C Connectivity

The Focus 504 includes both 3G-SDI and HDMI 2.0 input and output, allowing it to integrate with a wide range of cinema, broadcast, and mirrorless camera systems.

Its locking USB-C PVC port supports Power, Video, and Communication, including DisplayPort Alt Mode video input and USB data depending on the connected device, cable, and firmware.

Two additional USB-C ports support camera control, firmware updates, LUT loading, and screen grabs with compatible storage devices.

Camera Control

Integrated 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi supports wireless camera control workflows. Compatible camera control licenses are planned for supported RED, Sony, ARRI, and Canon cameras, allowing operators to adjust supported camera settings directly from the monitor.*

Compact Design for Professional Camera Rigs

Four 1/4"-20 mounting points with ARRI locating pins provide flexible mounting options for camera cages and accessories. A raised protective bezel helps protect the display during demanding production use.

The SmallHD Focus 504 is well suited for cinematography, documentary production, live production, handheld camera rigs, and other workflows where compact size and professional monitoring tools are equally important.
