The Teradek Prism 877 is a professional 4K 10-bit 12G-SDI encoder/decoder card designed to expand the capabilities of compatible Teradek Prism Rack systems. Supporting up to DCI 4K60 10-bit 4:2:2 video, the Prism 877 combines H.264/AVC and H.265/HEVC compression with flexible encoding and decoding capabilities for live production, broadcast, streaming, and IP video workflows.

4K 10-bit 12G-SDI Encoding and Decoding

The Prism 877 delivers high-quality video processing for demanding professional workflows, supporting resolutions up to DCI 4K60 with 10-bit 4:2:2 color. Its H.264/AVC and H.265/HEVC compression capabilities provide efficient video delivery while maintaining image quality and helping minimize latency.

Two 12G-SDI ports can be configured for loop, decode, or encode/decode applications. With an optional license, the card can also support simultaneous bidirectional encoding and decoding for more advanced production workflows.

HDR and Professional Video Processing

Built-in processing features make the Prism 877 adaptable to a wide range of video sources and production environments. The card supports HDR formats including 2020-PQ, 2020-HLG, and P3D65-PQ, along with video scaling and deinterlacing.

The Prism 877 also supports 8-channel audio and up to 10 video overlays, providing additional flexibility for live broadcast, streaming, and contribution applications.

Streaming, Camera-to-Cloud and Recording

Designed for modern IP video workflows, the Prism 877 supports SRT, RTMP, and RTSP, making it suitable for streaming, remote contribution, and camera-to-cloud applications.

For recording and backup, video can be captured to an SD card or the built-in 256GB NVMe storage. Optional licenses can further expand the system with capabilities such as network bonding and multi-output support.
