The system supports up to 1080p60 video over HDMI and 3G-SDI, with visually lossless transmission, 10-bit HDR support, and AES-256 encryption.

The kit includes a Ranger Micro 2500 transmitter, Ranger Micro 2500 V-Mount receiver, and Wooden Camera offset mounting bracket, giving production teams a complete wireless video solution for mobile and professional camera setups.

Professional 2,500-Foot Wireless Video Transmission

The Ranger Micro 2500 is designed for demanding wireless video applications where reliable, low-latency transmission is critical. The system can transmit 1080p60 video up to 2,500 feet line of sight, making it well suited for live events, broadcast production, sports, houses of worship, film sets, ENG, drones, gimbals, and shoulder-mounted cameras.

Teradek's zero-delay wireless technology provides a responsive video feed without the noticeable delay associated with many compressed wireless transmission systems.

3G-SDI and HDMI Connectivity

The Ranger Micro 2500 transmitter accepts video through 3G-SDI or HDMI, providing flexible connectivity for professional cameras and production equipment. The transmitter also features an SDI loop output for local monitoring.

The receiver outputs video through 3G-SDI or HDMI, making it easy to connect the wireless feed to a monitor, switcher, recorder, or other production equipment.

Flexible Wireless Frequency Options

The Ranger Micro 2500 supports a wide 4.9 to 6.4 GHz wireless frequency range, giving production teams more options for managing RF congestion. Depending on configuration and regional requirements, the system supports 5 GHz, licensed frequencies, and the 6 GHz U-NII-5 band.

The 6 GHz U-NII-5 band provides access to additional channels of wireless spectrum, helping production teams find cleaner frequencies in crowded RF environments.
