Keyboard Shortcut: V
The Selection tool
allows you to perform basic selections and edits
. You can select specific edit points and perform simple trims. Select multiple clips and move them around within the timeline, from track to track.
Track Select Forward/Backward
Keyboard Shortcut: A (Shift+A)
This tool will let you quickly select all of the clips in a sequence, either forward or backwards
. Naturally it won’t select clips in locked tracks. If you hold shift
, the tool will select only one track instead of all tracks.
