REVIEW: LaCie 2Big RAID Desktop Storage
One of the biggest products to come out of NAB 2019 was LaCie's new 2Big RAID, an updated storage solution along the lines of the 2Big Dock.
The 2Big Raid offers a 2-Bay Solution with a full aluminum enclosure with two metal trays- which support 2.5" and 3.5" drives.
This drive is a turnkey solution with up to 16TB storage space available. It features a Gen2 USB 3.1 port and a Type-C connector.
The 2Big RAID is also compatible with Windows and macOS, and includes a five year warranty.
The drive also includes a USB-C cable and A to C cable. On the front, the unit offers a double stack design, the same as all of the other 2Big units. On the back of the drive users will find a cooling fan, power button and power input, as well as a USB-C port with a Kensington lock slot.
2Big users are also able to utilize LaCie RAID manager, which names and registers devices. It also sets up email notifications to update owners on the status of the unit.
